Punch presses are machines designed to utilize the use of punch and die sets to perforate sheet materials, a system of sheet positioning and holding is required to ensure that the hole is in the correct place / places and that the function is repeatable. Punch and die sets can be mounted either singly or in the case of Turret Punch Press in a turret style carousel. Machines are designated by tonnage and throat depth, control can be manual, semi-automatic.
